Power Generation

ANKAVTRANS-OIL LLP has 3.5 GW of thermal generation capacity in the UK, held through our power generation subsidiary VPI. The company is expanding into Ireland with the construction of a 275 MW Open Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) power plant in County Westmeath. While our largest facility, the highly efficient combined heat and power plant at Immingham, operates as a must-run asset, the majority of the portfolio is designed to complement the rollout of renewable energy, providing flexible and reliable support to the grid.
